The Animal Care Program at Michigan State University is focused on providing faculty, staff and students the services necessary to be in compliance with all federal regulations, policies and guidelines in the conduct of their research and teaching. The Animal Care Program is composed of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and Campus Animal Resources (CAR). Together, they are dedicated to the humane use of animals in research and teaching.
